Leonardo da vinci

By

Hands down the most inspiring historical figure.

He excelled in so many fields, it’s unbelievable. If you are great in just one thing in your life, that is a monumental accomplishment. But Leonardo was an extraordinary painter, sculptor, inventor, anatomist, engineer, botanist, literate, musician, thinker, scientist, and architect.

And if you run out of breath reading this list, I’m breathless too, just thinking how talented he was.

In my life, I had the joy of standing in front of his Last Supper in Milan. I had goosebumps so high that I felt tall for the first time in my life.

According to the magazine “Brain”, Leonardo had ADHD, and that is why many of his works remain uncompleted. Still, his capacity to look into the future remains astounding, and every single time sends chills down my spine. His life was not simple. Solitude and exile concluded his life so many centuries ago. Yet, ever since, his works have enchanted people everywhere, regardless of religion, creeds, language and history.

Enjoyed your post. I too, saw The Last Supper, it was so interesting learn more about it. There is a very good biography by Walter Isaacson. If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it.
